TRUINVEST

Truinvest was founded in 2018, with backing from Stonewood Capital Partners, a family office, and completed four transactions over three years. Truinvest operated from four locations, with over 75 staff and managed more than £1.2bn of client assets.

Truinvest was a buy and build in the wealth management space servicing 1,000’s of private and corporate clients on their wealth management plans providing general financial planning and investment solutions to the mass affluent market.

The business was co-founded by Micky Johal along with an experienced management team the business spent a considerable amount of time integrating the group and transforming the business into a leading wealth management business.

In 2022, Micky Johal’s shares were acquired for a significant double-digit EBITDA multiple. The success of Truinvest has enabled Micky to understand what really makes a business attractive to investors and most importantly how to create significant value for all stakeholders.
